Among this group, one of the leaders called “Mogi” decided to move northwards with his family and those who agreed with him to migrate. So they went and settled in the cave of the hill called Guruguru. Mogi had a son whom gave he was named “Boro” which means the cave. This name was given because the cave was providing shelter for their people.
Boro had seven children with the first born with the name called “Dara” and the second child called “Odoch” and others up to the seventh child which gives the seven sub-clan of Boro. Since by nature, first born whose sex is a boy, is automatically leader of the family in African Traditional society. This did not work with Dara because he was a great hunter and had little time to manage the clan and protect the clan too. His mother sat him down and requested him to give the leadership to the second brother Odoch who had a chronic tropical ulcers to head the clan since he was always at home and lacked what to do.. Dara was humble and loyal, so he called a meeting of the clans and gave the power of leadership to the brother Odoch. Boro P’Odoch sub-clan of Boro has the throne and it is in the family of the Narrator. So this was the first clan to occupy the land called Lamogi which came after the name . Many other clans came and settled under his leadership.
